Satellite Piracy is not discussed at MyFreeFTA, MyFreeFTA is 100% Legal and True FTA. |
With todays cost of living and the loss of jobs it's hard to continue paying the high cost of cable and satellite
television so a good alternative is "Free To Air", (FTA) television now your not going to find CNN, FoxNews, ESPN,
HBO or many others you have become acustom too, but you will find many other good news services in english such as
Russia Today (RT), Al Jazeera, MHz Worldwide, Press TV along with many other shows from all over the world in
many different languages such as Spanish, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Chinese, Arabic with
many more.
Now if you decide that "Free To Air", television is for you the cost will be around $350.00, you will need a
Ku band satellite dish, Ku band linear lnb, hh dish rotor, satellite receiver and enough RG6 coax to reach from
your Ku band dish to your satellite receiver where ever it might be located also a metal pole to mount the dish
and rotor on of 1 5/8" to 2" diameter by 8 foot in length, this can be obtained from lowes or home depot.
Now you must have a clear view to the south with no obstruction by trees or other buildings as the satellite signal
will not pass thru the leafs or branchs of the tree.
You also need to have knowledge about setting up this equipment as it requires some basic knowledge of satellite
reception and setup, Free To Air is not plug and play.

Now if your still interested in setting up your own "Free To AIR", system let me start by telling you that there
are several good sites on the internet with instruction on how to setup your fta satellite system, also a good
place to look for a satellite receiver is on Ebay, (i prefer the Viewsat Ultra). Your other satellite
hardware equipment can be purchased from any number of several equipment dealers, i will list a couple of them
here.
I will also list a couple of excellent forums here.
